TITLE: Maintenance Worker

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Superintendent
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Performs duties of Maintenance staff. Follows scheduling to ensure completion of all work within established deadlines with attention to detail and appearance. Demonstrates and maintains a high degree of professionalism and consistency in all situations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strong understanding of grounds keeping, mechanical equipment operations, and safety practices.
Ability to work alone to follow directions of the Maintenance Superintendent to accomplish required tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read and interpret prints and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent education and/or experience to perform the job as described.
LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Excellent human relations skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate and interact with various internal and external customers.
SAFETY:
This and all positions require enforcing and following all Pinewild and OSHA safety regulations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid NC Driver’s License.
